Marsden M-600 & M-605 Patient Hoist Scales
About the Marsden M-600 & M-605 Patient Hoist Scales
Hospitals and care homes should weigh patients on admission and on a regular basis. The use of approved weighing equipment is a vital part monitoring weight loss and identifying patients who may be suffering from poor health or malnutrition. Patients with a low level of mobility, bed bound or disabled may need to be weighed using a scale which is attached to a hoist. Our hoist scales fit all hoists with a ‘coat hanger’ type of suspension. Marsden M-600 & M-605 Patient Hoist Scales are fitted with internal rechargeable battery. They fit hoists with the'coat hanger' type suspension and feature safety clips to hold the hoist securely in place. Easy to use, just place the patient in the sling, lift and record weight. Hold of weight feature. Also available is the Marsden M-605 Hoist Scale, a larger longer design for use on larger hoists with coat hanger shaped spreader bars that are 10cm longer than the standard M-600. After a bit of investigation into how to weigh my father who is bed bound, and cannot get out of bed easily, i found this weighing device that fits on to our arjo ceiling hoist. Clips on to the hoist and then the sling fi...ts onto the scale and lift up to weigh. Really easy to use, would recommend for anyone else who need to weigh patients in a sling. More
I purchased this scale to weigh my 84 year old mother who has a bone wasting disease and can not now get out of bed. After reading through the instructions supplied I have found it easy to use and can now keep an eye on m...ums weight. It is a little heavy to carry round and you need to have a coat hook type hoist for the scale to hang from. The scale arrived the very next day which was fab. More
