Choosing The Right Animal Scales

Comfort
Small Table Top scales have optional curved pans (like baby scales) help contain movement
Floor mounted scales need a low level platform and if necessary a non-slip mat.
Farm scales should have safe entry and exit gates and ramps.

Hold
When the animal on the scale platform moves, the displayed weight changes on the scale. The Hold function provides an accurate measurement even when the animal won’t keep still.

Tare
The Tare button is used to deduct the weight of any item placed on the platform that assists with the comfort or movement of the animal.
